This policy explains how Gigawit Technology Co., Ltd. (深圳市捷电科技有限公司, “Gigawit”, “we”, “us”) handles information when you visit gigawit.com (the “website”). It covers the website only. The Gigawit Control app has its own privacy policy.

Information you send us

The contact page lets you start a project, request samples, request a factory audit, or request a document such as a spec sheet. Depending on the request, the form asks for your name, company, email address, country and message, and may include the product platform you are interested in. For document requests, only your email address is required. The form also passes on the page you came from and any campaign parameters in the link (such as utm_source).

We use this information to reply to your inquiry, send the document you asked for, and follow up on a possible business relationship. Where data protection law requires a legal basis, we rely on taking steps at your request before entering into a contract, and on our legitimate interest in responding to business inquiries.

How inquiries are handled

When you submit the form, a service running on Cloudflare checks the spam-protection result and then sends the content of the form as an email to our sales mailbox. The website does not keep a copy in any database, and its technical logs do not record your name, email address or message.

Inquiry emails are kept in our mailbox for as long as needed to handle your inquiry and any business relationship that follows, and are then deleted. You can ask us to delete them sooner (see “Your rights” below).

Analytics

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand how the website is used, for example which pages are visited, which sites refer visitors, and which countries and device types visitors come from. It does not use cookies or local browser storage, and it does not build profiles of individual visitors. We only see aggregated statistics.

Spam protection

The contact page uses Cloudflare Turnstile to tell genuine visitors from automated spam. To do this, Cloudflare processes technical information about your browser and device, such as your IP address and browser characteristics. Turnstile is loaded only on the contact page and is used only to protect the form. See Cloudflare’s privacy policy.

Hosting and server logs

The website is delivered by Cloudflare. Like any web server, Cloudflare receives technical information with each request, such as your IP address, browser type and the page requested, and uses it to deliver the website and protect it against attacks. This information may be processed on servers outside your country.

Fonts

All fonts used on the website are hosted on gigawit.com. Your browser does not contact Google Fonts or any other font service.

Sharing

We do not sell your information. We share it only with service providers that help us run the website and our email (such as Cloudflare and our email provider), who process it on our behalf, and where the law requires us to disclose it.

International transfers

Gigawit is based in China, and your inquiry is handled by our team there. Our service providers may process information in other countries. Where required, we take steps to make sure your information remains protected.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask whether we hold personal information about you, and to access, correct or delete it, or to object to how we use it. You may also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority. To make a request, email us at the address below. We will reply within 30 days.

Children

The website is intended for businesses. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will update this page and the date at the top.
