Technology
Every layer ours. Tuned as one system.
Bluetooth module, protocol stack and firmware, audio algorithms, app and the test system that spans R&D and production — all built by gigawit. Owning every layer is what lets us optimize for what the consumer actually feels.
01 — The stack
Six technologies, one product.
- L4Companion apps and white-labelCompanion apps developed together with the firmware, covering EQ, pairing, Auracast and firmware updates, and delivered under your brand.
- L3Audio algorithms and tuningANC, ENC and EQ developed on the Bluetooth chip's DSP and tuned together with the acoustic design, so noise control, calls and sound fit each brand.
- L2Auracast broadcast audioWe build both sides of Auracast, transmitters and receivers, and make them work together, so one source can share audio with any number of listeners.
- L2Bluetooth stack and firmwareIn-house Bluetooth firmware on standard Qualcomm QCC chips: Classic audio, LE Audio, and tailored low-latency protocols such as our LightSync codec.
- L1Bluetooth modulesOur own Bluetooth modules on Qualcomm platforms sit at the core of every product, with RF, power and size designed for the product they go into.

02 — System-level optimization
Why it matters that one team owns every layer.
A typical ODM starts from the chip vendor's reference design, and each layer is owned by a different team or supplier — so each can only optimize within its own boundary. We trade layers off against each other.
| Typical ODM | gigawit |
|---|---|
| Each layer owned by a different team or supplier | Hardware, firmware, app, manufacturing and test designed together |
| Optimizes for its own layer's metrics | Optimizes for the end-to-end consumer experience |
| Problems stop at the reference design | Problems traced to the lowest layer and fixed there |
| Standard protocols only | Tailored Bluetooth protocols on standard chips |
03 — Chip platforms
Built on standard Bluetooth chips.
Our current platforms run on Qualcomm QCC Bluetooth audio chips, so customers keep the maturity, supply and cost of a standard platform. Ask us about other chip platforms for your project.
- Qualcomm QCC5181
- Qualcomm QCC3084
