Modern Bluetooth audio has more settings than a couple of physical buttons can handle. A companion app gives them a proper interface. We develop the app alongside the firmware, so a product leaves the factory with a complete app experience rather than an afterthought.
What the app can do
- Device dashboard: device information, now-playing status, volume and device preferences in one place.
- EQ: presets plus fully customizable slots.
- Codec selection, where the product supports more than one.
- Pairing management: scan for devices, pair, reconnect, unpair or disconnect, including multipoint products.
- Auracast setup: set a broadcast name and password on transmitters, and browse and join nearby broadcasts as a broadcast assistant. See Auracast.
- Button settings, for products whose controls can be remapped.
- Firmware updates over USB or wirelessly. Firmware is signed and checked before it is installed.
Designed with the firmware
The same team defines both the app and the protocol it uses to talk to the device. Pairing, settings and over-the-air updates are designed as one flow, so they behave the same on every product and every platform: web, Android and iOS.
White-label
Your customers see your brand, not ours.
- your app name, icon, colors and visual design
- a feature set chosen for your product line
- your own privacy policy and store listing
In-house example: Gigawit Control
Gigawit Control is our own companion app for gigawit dongles and transceivers. It runs on the web, Android and iOS, connects over USB or wirelessly, and covers the dashboard, EQ, pairing, Auracast broadcast setup and firmware updates. It needs no account and contains no advertising or third-party analytics. It shows what a white-label app built on the same foundation can do.
What it means for the listener
Settings that are easy to find, pairing that just works, and a product that keeps improving through updates, all in an app that carries the brand they bought.
